The habitants of the Great Forest

The Fox
Old friends with the Bear. Once the Fox and the Bear were the best of friends. A local folklore says that it was because of the Fox that the Bear once lost its tail. They are natural-born salesmen, and have a bit of a reputation of being cunning. But the the Bear and the Fox have since then amended their ties and have been the best of friends. Aside from the Bears the foxes also tend to mix with the Wolves.
The Wolf
Pack animals who live in the higher ground in Bearry Mountain. The wolves and foxes are great friends. Along with the bears the wolves are known to be the protectors of the forest. They often work as the police or firemen. They are kind creatures as long as your don’t disturb them.

The Rabbits

The Moose
Wise animals from whom everyone in the forest has been looking guidance from since the beginning of time. The Moose serve as teachers and scientists educating the animals big or small about the life in the forest and beyond. They are majestic creatures whose antlers define their age.

The Beaver
Experts in building and known for their dams. They are animals who take care of the the facilities and expand the forest for the benefit of all of the animals. There’s a saying that without the beavers, the forest would not be what it is today. They are engineers by nature and work well with everyone. They love the waterfront and as such tend to live by the Reed Lake.
The Hedgehog
Just like the rabbits, they are hard-working no-nonsense animals, though a bit more timid than the rabbits. They are known to be great in forecasting the weather, and as such the meteorologist is almost always from the family of The Hedgehog. There is a saying they can smell the weather change in the air. And as such animals like the Bear who sleep torpor over the winter, really rely on the Hedgehog for updates. They are also usually doctors and generally considered wise creatures.
